Doesn't last more than a month. I received these on March 5th, now April 13th and the first bulb has already died. I'll stick with the ones from the other store. They can cost 5.00 per bulb but they last more than 7 months. If you enjoy changing lightbulbs more frequently, this product is for you.

Update: I bought several packs and some bulbs didn't even last a week. The stars have been removed. But the screw is a normal size and its performance is fantastic. I only have one on my beard and it gets very hot.

I ordered them on April 29th, now on August 23rd and I only have one bulb left. So they last a month and several days. For reference, my 12-year-old red-eared slider burns about 16 hours a day. The old bulbs I used lasted about 3-4 months so I will be going back to them.

Due to their small size I was a little skeptical about getting them. In fact, we thought they didn't fit our standard gecko mount. We were 100% wrong. They fit and produce a strong light to keep our geckos warm. They're on our future must-buy list through Revain Poems in lieu of a trip to the local pet store. Reasonable price and high quality. Bought for my anoles and beard. The intensity of the light is so high that I'm concerned about eye damage, and if it's more than 12 inches from the tank (so less direct) the reptiles won't benefit from the UV. My beard must be over 85*. 25 gallon tank, this light barely makes it to 82 * The heating range will be fine for my anoles but overall the product is not at all what I thought based on the description.

Yes, you get some light bulbs because you will use them up quickly. I already have the second bulb and received my package on August 31st. I had a two month old lamp and finally needed some bulbs so I decided to buy some. I adjusted the lightbulb, everything was fine for about a week, then one day I heard a loud bang. When I realized that this was my lamp for my turtles I immediately turned it off, thank goodness I was home. So I couldn't remember the recommended wattage this bulb could handle…
