The best defense in MMA for us "big ones ".

The best mug I have ever used. The size and shape are perfect for keeping it in place and the protection is excellent for mixed martial arts and martial arts.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad

6 ft tall 190 lbs Medium

Got this for my high school football teen and he loves it. We ordered a medium (adult) and when we took it out of the box it looked HUGE. We thought it was by no means a cure. Really very nice cup. He wears compression shorts with a pocket on the cup, they don't move and he finds them comfortable. Very happy with our purchase!

Pros
  • Grand Prize
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

Good size, fits well and does the job, good price overall

Many of the cups look like they are intended for women and not men which means they are very are tight at the bottom with all pieces left too crumpled. And if you get hit down there, it hurts like hell. It's wider and maybe a little deeper, and it just makes you feel better whether you're taking a picture or not.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Terrible Fit: Martial Arts

I'm not a short guy at 6ft 2in 225 but this mug has a massive profile and doesn't cover the most important parts. I use it for Krav Maga and am constantly thinking about it and adjusting it when it comes down to my waist. The women in the class look at me and think I have more than one pant tent.

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Doesn't work well with protective gear

Reference: I'm 5ft 10" and weigh 185 pounds. I train 5 times a week. The bowl is too wide, sharp and the material is too hard. This can be good in boxing, but very uncomfortable in any kind of grappling. I couldn't finish a regular armbar or triangle choke because the cup is too wide making it impossible to squeeze my legs together. I can't return it as I've worn it and it's terrible. So I'll just leave my honest review. . Save money and buy a Diamond Cup instead.

Full martial arts protection

I bought this nut cup to wear with my master compression shorts as they have a cup pocket and I figured this cup should work fine in it as it's from are of the same brand. So far I'm really impressed with it - I've used it in both standing and wrestling and it stays securely stowed away. My height is 5'10, 170 and it fits me. It seems to fit almost all adult males. I didn't get hit hard in the groin and I hope I don't have to. With little contact so far, it's been great. I'll update if I get a…

I think I'm pretty average, not that I compare much

K, well it's functional. That being said I wouldn't call myself XL there, I think I'm pretty average not that I compare much but in my humble opinion everything feels a little tight there. Also, the top venting is a bit uncomfortable without compression shorts, for reasons I'll leave to readers' imagination. I wish there was a little more room for the axle and bearings. I only bought it because the fencing club needs it, so it won't be a big deal. As a rugby player I can confirm it would be…

Properly sized mug for martial arts and sports

I have recently started karate again after more than two years and want to protect my goodness. I am 54 years old and bought this mug to replace the mug I used 25 years ago (it was a youth size). This one fits comfortably. I guess I'm "average" height (5ft 10", 190lbs and a medium pack, although one testicle was enlarged from hernia surgery a few years ago). There is no extra room in the cup, but the girth seems to be in perfect contact with the groin. Surprisingly I use the same bandage as I…
