Terrible instructions

I didn't trust the count so I used a stopwatch. Exactly 10 seconds later I took the mouthguard out of the water to find the sides had curled up and melted into the bite channel before I could even put it in my mouth. What a waste of money.

Meister Mouthguard Review

I followed the casting instructions exactly, but the mouthguard folded up on its own and I couldn't fix it until it had hardened. Any attempt at reshaping is useless and only leads to further destruction of the kappa. This item was a waste of money and I would definitely not recommend it.

At first the product seemed small and unusable, but .

The product seemed small and unusable at first, but it expands quite quickly in 80 degree water. But it became too big and difficult to place. So I chilled it in the freezer for about 40 seconds and left it at room temperature overnight and now it's not too big for its size. I have a hard time closing my lips when wearing a guard, which is definitely a bad thing, and the part where the front teeth are is pretty narrow.

  • Excellent overall performance

Not for night use. Too bulky and stiff to fit snugly

I carry 2 shields and due to TMJ for a short time I wanted something to keep my jaw in place at night. Follow the instructions in the matching letter. I was fine. Because of the materials that make up this double mouthguard, it's really difficult. wire 2 nights and stopped. It's just too bulky. My main draw was the ventilation, but because of the loose fit. The vent wasn't really needed, I wouldn't recommend it for nighttime use. Maybe sports. But not for sleeping

How to "cook and bite " without destroying the mouthguard.

I don't usually write reviews but I see a lot of people writing reviews about the mouthguard turning to a mush when they try to put it in their mouth. And I think a lot of people throw that thing in a pot of boiling water, which you can do with a lot of boil-and-bite mouthguards, but not this one. You should boil the water, pour it into a Pyrex mug or container, let it cool slightly, and then put on the mouthguard for about ten seconds. It should hold its shape, especially if you add some room…

Best of the 3 I've bought

I recently bought 3 double mouth guards because the state I moved to requires them for competition. Master MMA moldable double mouthguard was the most convenient and easy to mold (only had to weld and bite off once). This is the kappa I will be using. Update: Used from 2014 to August 2019. I have found this mouthguard to be more useful than any other I have ever purchased. I've only stopped using it because I left it in my bag, it got in the wash and came out as an undetectable lump. Currently…

Not as easy to model as it looks

Just tried to model a mouthguard and messed up despite reading the instructions that came with it. I put it in boiling water for 10 seconds, let it cool for a second, then put it in my mouth to shape it. Instructions should include before and after photos. One side of the guard was fine as it covered my top and bottom teeth. The other side buckled, however, and I ended up digging into it. At the moment it is impossible to fix / redo it. You really only have one chance to get it right. A look at

You can't talk in it!

The first impression was that it looks damn small. The blue is darker than in the picture. It looked doubtful that it was even created for an adult's mouth (the label says it is). I put it in boiling water and after a few seconds it was in my mouth. In fact, it works for both tops and bottoms. I still wear it to sparring with no issues. The only downside is that you can't speak clearly with the braces on, but I think that would be a problem with any double mouthguard. Love how you can breathe…

  • Great overall performance
