Description of Melin Tool AMG DP1 Monolayer Diameter

Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Aluminum titanium nitride is similar to TiAlN but with a higher aluminum content for improved hardness and smoothness. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. Can be used for drilling, slotting, chamfering, and profile milling. Available in 90 degree points.

Fantastic Monolayer Diameter Milling Accessory

I recently purchased a monolayer diameter milling accessory and was thrilled with the results. As a result of using this product, I found that my milling precision was significantly improved.The quality of my machined products has gone up dramatically. The con of this accessory is that it's quite pricey but the quality it adds to my work makes it worth the investment. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their milling accuracy..

You don't have a drill bit!

I have been using Melin Drills for many years with excellent results. However, when I ordered this from Revain, it wasn't the drill. It's great for beveling or tapping plastic, but not tapping stainless steel, which is what I use it for. I found out later that Melin makes them in 2 different grinds. These are NOT the ones that have a drill. Revain must state this in the item description.
