High quality replacement case. Same quality as original DVD cases.

They were the same quality as the DVD cases that came with my DVD purchases. They have a transparent cover for inserting art. The center sleeve is strong and slides out easily to eject DVDs. They also have two clips on the inside of the front cover for paper inserts. I checked the DVD out at my local library and removed the insert from the cover to copy it to my printer. It worked great and was easy for me to copy.

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Good but not great

DVD Storage Cases: DVD Cases

I thought they fit. I've seen some people call her fragile. I took out some films and compared the cases. Yes boring evening. Well, some commercial cases have been very strong and others have been just as strong. I only bought these to replace the factory cases with broken plastic tabs holding the slide. So they fit me. They opened and closed for me too. I gave them 5 stars because I couldn't find a fault. These are DVD cases.

Affordable price, but there is one major downside.

The hub for the cases I have sucks. It holds the discs REALLY well, but the part that looks like a latch isn't connected to the clips that hold the disc, so pushing the hub does nothing. Instead, the disk must be ejected. However, I've read very conflicting reviews about it, so I'm not even sure if they ship the same cases with every order. Mine doesn't have an odd smell, the plastic is solid and the plastic wrap on the lid is fine, contrary to some of the negative reviews I've read. In fact…

Branded case for a DVD.

I'm constantly expanding my DVD collection, so I'm always on the lookout for empty DVD cases. I recently bought another brand and it turned out to be junk. in my opinion. I've noticed that the quality of these blank DVD cases keeps changing regardless of the brand. The buyer should read the latest reviews as that is what you are getting! Advantages: + Corporate brand. + Actual size is 14mm, contrary to some who say they are but end up being smaller. + Transparent outer shell. + Internal…

Worthy cases when they arrive intact

Of these 10 boxes, 5 arrived intact. The rest had minor to moderate damage (small pieces of plastic missing, spine cracked and chipped, etc.). Revain quickly sent me a replacement set of 5 damaged hulls. Between two sets I could find a full set of 10. Undamaged cases seem to work fine. They open and close normally; DVDs are inserted and held securely, but released without much effort. The case will have a standard cover and inside there are small tabs for the booklet that comes with some DVDs…

Reliable Quality DVD Storage Cases

I prefer to use a brand that I know to be reliable and durable of consistent quality. This is Memorex. I have bought packs of 10 standard 14mm DVD cases from them twice already. I've never had any problems with their quality. Never found anything broken. I found the locking hub to open easily with a light push. It's easy to replace a DVD with minimal effort - unlike some that require extra pressure on the disc as it slides back into place. There are more than enough holders for every…

Poor quality, not recommended

If you're expecting the high quality DVD cases that come with store bought DVDs or video game discs, don't buy. Bought with such expectations. Desired use for archiving. However, these cases are of poor quality for this use. Looks neat inside. Outside No. However it's like using the toilet paper in the bathroom at the gas station and it only has 1 ply instead of 2 or 4 and it tears when wiping. This is a 1-layer DVD case. Good plastic, just too thin. If I press even very lightly on the outside…

Spin, slap, slap the Bing Bong.

I have a lot of pre-recorded DVDs and one thing I've learned the most is that all DVD cases are made differently. Some are very good, some are mediocre and some are just plain terrible. Another problem that arises is the damage that can occur when removing the labels used to seal the actual drive inside the case, thereby alerting would-be thieves to the security device that is often locked inside. I'm particularly annoyed when the adhesive on these labels stays on the sleeve and doesn't remain…
