Cannot add to HomeKit or Meross app

Update: I returned this to Revane/Meross. I can't get this to work with the Home app or the Meross app. Meross support finally contacted me but it was too late and after I had already returned it. I would not recommend this device to anyone due to the lack of support from the manufacturer. Original: I just got this and so far it has failed miserably. I bought MSG100HK, checked the labels on the box and the HomeKit sticker on the unit. Following Meross' instructions, I can't add any accessories…

WiFi is unstable. in Keypads & Remotes

I was hoping to give this five stars. I have two. The device was packaged as expected. is strong enough. The cable length is sufficient for standard garage door installations. It synced to HomeKit as expected and I named two openers and the garage they are in. But there is a very annoying problem. They both like to part ways with HomeKit by accident. . WiFi just goes off. Each of them has been periodically disconnected since installation. Sometimes due to a power outage and sometimes because it

No customer support

Installation was pretty easy, but it doesn't seem to work properly when paired with Apple HomeKit. When opening the HomeKit app, my garage icon always shows that my garage is on the way to the open position, even if it's not physically moving. When I touch the icon, it returns to its default position, indicating that it's closed. Everything is fine from the Meross app. The display and controls work as expected with prompts indicating the door is easily opened or closed by the Meross app. I have

Good hardware, easy to set up and works well with Apple HomeKit

Easy to interface with our 17 year old Genie garage door opener. However, I had no interest in attaching the Meross module to a door lock drive head from the ceiling in the middle of the garage. The Meross smart opener now offers instant contact closure, as does the Genie push button wall control that sits along the side front door from our house to the garage. So why not install a Meross module right next to this button station and run it parallel to the button terminals with the existing pair

Excellent HomeKit Garage Door Controller

Disclaimer: I received this device for free but this opinion is 100% mine. Meross made no conditions. TLDR: Great HomeKit Garage Door Controller for HomeKit (Also Alexa and Google Assistant!) I've been looking for a GarageDoor controller for years. I considered other options like MyQ but the reviews didn't give me confidence. When I saw the Meross garage door controller on Revain, the reviews looked promising, but I wanted a HomeKit version. When this device was released, I checked and ordered…

Disclaimer: I gave this device for free, but this opinion is 100% my own. Meross made no conditions. I have a garage door opener - Genie - model 2028 [see fig. NS-CH1XGO8) which was the only HomeKit enabled device available at the time. The installation of the Meross MSG100HK was almost identical to that of the Insignia unit, with the exception of the sensor cable (detailed below and in the images). into a socket on the ceiling [cf. rice. 2]. The sensor cable must be secured with the screws…
