worth trying if you are looking for a clean solder joint.

This is better than I expected as there are some bad reviews, Soldered for over 30 years, mostly liquid flux, this paste is soft and works well on some projects.

50G is 50G but: Solder and flux

So it works fine. He does what he has to do. But please imagine the fear you will feel when you open the package and find that the container is half full or half empty depending on your point of view. In any case, it's just a "feeling" that you've been fooled. But mostly does what it's supposed to.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Broadly ok, but...

Great Scott I mean Flux!

Bought the kit and bought it just in case, glad I did! The flux in the kit did not work at any temperature and with different nozzles. I switched to this flux and it worked the first time and it worked great. The solder had a constant flow and worked at every temperature I tried. FYI I used my Weller station with a Weller pencil and tips. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Out of style

Must be cleaned. He is conductive.

Replaced two Omron mouse switches in my two Logitech G500s mice and used this flux to work with them. Flux worked great. After we put the mouse back together and used it for five minutes, I noticed both mice double clicking, constant clicking, stuttering, etc. Looking through the repair threads, one of the threads mentioned something about conductive flux residue. I disassembled the mouse and cleaned the contacts on both switches with alcohol, removing the yellow coating. All problems…

  • Confident
Cons
  • Clarity

A very important ingredient for every solder joint.

Soldering many wires and connectors. Rarely for circuit boards. I often found it difficult to heat it enough for the solder to flow. Someone told me to use flux on the wire and connector first. That makes it a lot easier. Apply heat and once the paste begins to melt the solder will flow right in. I read some information about what flux paste does. Read for yourself. All I know is that it has made my solder joints much faster, cleaner and more reliable.

Pros
  • Excellent wettability
Cons
  • Damaged

great, works very well.

This is a must have product if you like soldering. Rosin flux in a soldering line is not enough for most things, even properly cleaned solder pads benefit greatly from more flux. It doesn't seem like much, but I've made hundreds of connections and most of them are still left. Wear professional lace gloves, this material is dirty, sticky and very easy to wash off your hands with hand soap. although dishwashing detergent removes it fairly easily. Use this material outdoors and with a fan blowing…

  • RoHS Compliant

  • Very Expensive
