First of all, it works as advertised. However, in my setup it was interfering with my rear camera and dash cam. Keep that in mind. On its own it does exactly what it's supposed to, but in a more complex setup (cameras, etc.) it can get in the way. If you don't have any add-ons, this will work just fine.

I just installed a Kenwood DDX9906XR DVD player in my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and the manufacturers were very easy to install following their instructions and flawless features. I've consistently seen differing opinions as to whether such a thing is needed or if you just need to ground one of the wires from the factory harness to the chassis. I installed this on my new Kenwood DMX4707s receiver that I bought 3 months ago and it literally worked and I pulled it out by connecting 3 wires (installed this so I can use Android Auto) then turn the radio back on and I had no sound. I checked all the power wires and ground with my multimeter and checked everything, then I checked the RCA wire from the radio to the amp and there was nothing. Somehow installing this element fried something on the radio causing it to not produce any sound.

This product will NOT remove this warning which is part of the system unless you can reflash it and remove this warning (good luck with that).
