MIG 205 Welding Machine Gasless Voltage Review

I have to say that this welder really surprised me. I have used Hobart, Miller and Lincoln welders for the past 40 years. This welder is great. Lays a good caterpillar with the right settings and good quality wire. Even fill welds. With the right settings and cables. Flux spatter is really minimal with .35 (.09) wire. 1 star because I couldn't use the unit as the 2lb wire spool is not suitable for the unit. Nowhere in the description is it mentioned that 2lb wire spools are not suitable. I ordered a 10lb roll and will see if it fits. The spindle that the wire fits on is too big for 2 pounds. It is removed, but even after that, the role still does not fit. Based on other reviews I figured the worst case scenario I'd have to try and return a few units before I could get a working one. Just unpacked the welder, installed it on my welding cart and did a few test welds in stick mode at 120v, the unit arrived undamaged and works well, the packaging was a neat cardboard box with foam inserts. With an ever increasing number of cheap welders flooding the market, it's nice to see a machine with advanced features and good build quality.
