Fuel has entered the vacuum line.

noticed severe flooding after installation and road use. Gas in the vacuum line. The pump was installed with the vacuum port down, not sure if that was the cause but sent my OEM back. The item appeared to be solid in construction/material.

Pros
  • Fuel System
Cons
  • So far so good

Is it important!

For a 2020 Ice Bear MadDog Gen IV with no further modifications and 50 miles on the odometer. It definitely made a difference...you notice it mainly at higher speeds above 35mph. It doesn't wobble like the stock fuel pump does. Dump that shit and get a Mikuni pump!

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Socket required

GY6 freezes? Try it.

I had a serious problem with my (then) stock 150cc GY6 tricycle that was doing over 40km/h (unacceptable). After a bit of research, I found that the stock fuel pump was starving the engine; and boy was I right! I still choke a bit around 50mph, but it probably has more to do with carbs. In the future I plan to buy a Mikuni brand carb depending on how cool that pump is. Highly recommended, I don't see what can go wrong with this.

Pros
  • Fuel Pumps and Accessories
Cons
  • Good but not great

Fuel pressure to match any previously pumpless carbureted motorcycle.

Two reasons you might need this: - Your tank, or the one you have just installed, will deliver fuel less than 10cm above the carburettor float bowl. This ensures that all fuel can get inside. Do you have a motorcycle that was built after 1983? The EPA valve on the tank needs some vacuum to allow air to flow past the fuel when you use it. At a certain low fuel level it is not hard enough to open this valve and your engine will stall with gas left in the tank. This pump can open this valve all…

Pros
  • Electric Fuel Pumps
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

It took me a long time to buy this!

oh my god! This fuel pump single-handedly eliminated all of my frustration. If your scooter basically behaves like it's running out of fuel at full throttle, and that's really your only problem. This will fix it! I've replaced so many things that I thought were the problem like carburetors, ignition, injectors and so on. After I bought this I put my old stuff back in and yes I had no problems. I used to commute 14 miles round trip to work. My scooter went up to 54 which was fine for a half mile
