Easy to install. Intelligent design. Works well. To fit most routers, the main slot in this base is aligned with two screws placed diagonally to each other. Unfortunately, the handles are positioned as if the screws were next to each other. This will shift the front hole of the router to one side when the handles are held parallel to the cutting line. I tilt the handles to keep an eye on the snaffle, but I prefer to ride both hands along the cutting line.

All their ads show the Rigid 2401. Although it is screwed to the router, it is crooked. You can look into the viewport, but it's to the side. If you're using your compact carving router, this is a deal breaker. Pros: The knobs feel comfortable but firm to the touch, and they're highly adjustable. Not the best quality control. If you have a Milescraft Sign Pro kit and a Harbor Freight, Drill Master Trim you can use this base. It fits as shown in the attached photo. You can use the baseplate screw to install from the Drill Master baseplate. Make sure to use the centering guide when installing. Once aligned and installed, you can remove the centering bar by loosening the height adjustment screw and lifting the motor off the base. Then put the motor back on the base and you're good to go.
