The main slot must line up with the handles.
Easy to install. Intelligent design. Works well. To fit most routers, the main slot in this base is aligned with two screws placed diagonally to each other. Unfortunately, the handles are positioned as if the screws were next to each other. This will shift the front hole of the router to one side when the handles are held parallel to the cutting line. I tilt the handles to keep an eye on the snaffle, but I prefer to ride both hands along the cutting line.
