Amazing and for the price you can't do better.

This is amazing. Upgraded my old standard connectors to these and the difference is amazing. You can see the size comparison in the photos. The bore of Milton blocks is over 1/4" (0.27" to be exact), while standard ports are 3/16" or 0.187". Doesn't sound like much, but it's huge. The Milton has an area of 0.049 inches, while the standard connector is only 0.028 inches. Thus, Milton has almost twice the opening area than the standard. This can be seen most clearly in the characteristics of…

Heavy duty, industrial grade product

It's made of brass with knurled handles and looks like it could last for years if it's not dropped or abused. The latch slides smoothly after a little lubrication and doesn't leak. Please note that this quick coupling is a closed fitting. If no plug is inserted into the coupling, the valve in the coupling closes the air passage. If you are using it with a tankless pumping system like a tire pump, you don't need to attach it to the side of the pump or the pump will immediately over-pressurize. I

There seems to be a difference.

Step in Milton High Power Couplings and Plugs. I agree with other reviewers - the tools feel a bit more powerful and alive. I bought this set because the couplers are brass and the plugs are steel. So far, so good. Everything seems to be working fine. I went with a set of brass connectors and steel plugs as there were several reviews complaining about the durability of the aluminum sets. I also ordered a box of 10 brass connectors to gear up my tools and stay away from the aluminum connectors…

WOW is what I missed!

I installed these plugs and almost immediately had to rush over here and write a review, all I can say is WOW! 2.5 HP, which is generally considered very decent. All my hoses and fittings were also HF, most from their "starter pack". From day one I suffered from poor tool performance, even with 90psi tools at 120+ (which you shouldn't), everything always seemed underpowered from grinders to needle scalers, the only thing that worked half decent is an air nozzle. It was so bad that it made me…

I wish I had switched many years ago

I heard about these when I was thinking of upgrading my home shop to a larger diameter fitting because I felt like they were limiting me. They are said to be the same diameter but flow just as well as the next larger one. Well, call me sold. I plugged them in and then checked the hole on the M-style connector and it's noticeably larger. Blow through the completed male/female coupling and it's noticeably easier to blow through the V-style. I installed them on a number of tools and tested their…
