🔴 Milton (S-716) 1/4" Male NPT M Style Air Fitting Quick Connect Coupler Red - Industrial Grade Review

I misled the "Fast Connection" heading. This is not a one-hand push connection. It requires both hands, like the most common mechanism. So I'm bringing it back and looking for a really fast way to connect.

Bought two for the air system in my jeep. The latch on both of them sticks open too often. I smear them with wd40, enough for about a day. Connecting the air hose has become a frustrating struggle and requires too much effort. However, they do not lick. I plan to switch to another brand soon.

I don't usually write reviews but felt this product deserved one. I bought this kit and I'm talking about the day/night difference from what I had. I assumed every joint was leaking (and yes I used teflon tape) not to leak anywhere. It's phenomenal. I felt the quick connect difference when I assembled it. The best part is not only the quality but they only cost a few dollars more than what I had. Worth buying.

I've long been a fan of Milton's quick connect connectors, but for some reason these connectors don't mate with connectors, even Milton's. It's possible they're just stiff and loosen with use, but for now I have to push the connector firmly into the socket for it to snap into place. Yes, I use the same industrial M connectors. I also bought several Milton plugs and sockets in matching colors and these plugs and sockets are a perfect match.

At least they work and work well. But I got tired of all 3 items ordered having been used just taped back onto the card and sent back in the post. Judging by the amount of Teflon tape that had been applied incorrectly, they probably came from someone in the room complaining about leaks. If you intend to resell returned items, at least clean the product and remove the old junk. After spending some time cleaning them and applying sealant properly, they installed easily with no leaks.

These faucets WORK! I had the fittings at my local Big Box Store (BBS) and couldn't stop them from leaking so I decided to try these Milton fittings. I have bought them several times and have now replaced all the fittings with (BBS). What difference does it make when I'm not using my air compressor, it's not running for hours and the air leak around my work has not only been annoying, but sometimes blows dust and objects in places where they shouldn't be.
