Works great. Connected directly to my Power Drive. I wasn't sure if this would work because I bought a boat and a trolling motor, but it synced up with no problem.

My first remote got stuck and didn't work properly, this is perfect for my 10 year old Minn Kota V2. Just press and hold the 1/4" button on the outside of the unit (easy to find) until you hear a beep, then press a button on the new remote. Picked it up straight away with no problems.

Worked fine for a few years then the buttons stopped working. I put in a new battery and it still doesn't work. Now on my third channel (what else should I do with my Riptide?). Extremely dangerous; The first time it happened was walking toward a cement wall on San Diego Bay when it was collapsing. Of course I couldn't turn the thing off! Not good. Luckily, I installed the connector next to the motor and hastily pulled it out. Beware!

I LOVE IT. I just bought a boat with wireless but the seller lost the remote control. So I used the crappy pedal on a few rides before I bought it. It is excellent. I've slipped a soft velcro through and wear it like a watch. Syncing up was very easy (instructions included) and now I can sit back and relax while keeping the kids in the best throwing position. Worth every penny if you have a wireless receiver hooked up to your motor.

I wasn't sure what replacement remote I needed to control the co-pilot on my MinnKota Power Drive trolling motor, but it didn't take long for me to settle for it. I found a good price, ordered it and received it within two days with Prime delivery. Setup was easy. fast and easy. In less than a minute this remote was working perfectly and I was back to work after losing the original remote that came with the co-pilot.

A friend upgraded his trolling motor and gave me his used MK Power Drive V2 but the pedal was broken and he couldn't find the remote.
