Excellent product and price

Excellent radiator. It is thicker than the stock unit. Causes some sharing issues. Nothing that cannot be solved. Keeps the car cool and happy.

Required for older Subaru

I installed this on my 1997 Subaru WRX STi (GC8 chassis) after the stock radiator started peeing out of the plastic end caps. It was a very easy install, along with replacing the old thermostat and hoses with new OEM models. The fans I got were possibly from an early 90's non-turbo legacy, they didn't quite match, I'm guessing the turbo fans are a bit different and loose. The lack of a built in radiator cap and the need for a separate pressure vessel with cap is a bit annoying, I have a universal secondary vessel, again no problem if you plug it into the Turbo Legacy. I've…

Mishimoto is a great race oriented company that guarantees their coolers.

Unlike Koyo, Mishimoto is a great racing company that guarantees their radiators regardless of use. This MMRAD-B4-90 corresponds to the Koyo R1819 radiator and is designed for older turbocharged vehicles. But people also drive them in newer Subaru. I use one in my coupe 98 2.5rs with STI swap. Before I bought this Mishimoto I had a Koyo cooler. I smelled like coolant all the time. I changed hoses, tightened clamps, etc. If I drove the car, drove home and parked it, I would have had a few drops…
