Excellent heatsink guaranteed

To replace the stock heatsink on a 1991 MT. As I watched the video, it got easier. It looks great and, combined with a thin fan shroud, takes up less space than the original. It's a daily rider that we're slowly optimizing for racing. When I received the car the front of the car was damaged and the radiator was a mess. There were several overheating issues in Oklahoma. The new setup is cool in many ways. quality product.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No power

Good heatsink, with bent fins, didn't fit directly

Good heatsink. Apparently very well done. However, there were 2 problems. When I took it out of the box, it turned out that a significant number of fins were bent. My 30 year old original heatsink didn't even have curved fins so it was quite frustrating to see for the price I paid. Second, it suggests that this is a direct replacement for the original fans, but that's not entirely true. If you try to install it with the original fans, they will interfere with the front stabilizer. Either you…

Good choice for an upgrade.

Installed on Mazda Miata 1995 with power steering and pneumatic. that it is tight but fits well. It is also significantly lighter with more cooling capacity. I installed it with factory fans, again tight but a perfect fit. I would suggest, as I did, using thick poster paper to cover the core when lowering the unit into place and installing the fans. sent a replacement device. Many Thanks. Car enthusiasts put a lot of effort into getting things right and it's great to see the suppliers doing…

High quality in radiators

I really like this wheel, I don't really have much to add so I'll just give a few tips for those upgrading their Miata: - Fits very tight. I had to move quite a bit to fit my original manufacturer's engine bay. I reused the stock fans and attached them before installing the heatsink in the car. Save all screws when disassembling the stock cooling system, you will reuse them. If you're doing coolant diversion at the same time, the top inlet is in the right place, but you should also consider…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The product is quite easy to install for an ATS mechanic. Mishimoto's installation help video is misleading about easy installation, it requires some work. The new unit will not slide in easily unless the mounting bracket in the engine bay is bent to allow the radiator to seat properly. Next, when ordering radiator hoses (we ordered separately), the company should send good clamps, not cheap screwdrivers, but improved clamps. Reconnecting power to the dual fan assembly should be easier. Once…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are shortcomings

Not impressive. in engine cooling and air conditioning

Mishimoto positions itself as a premium supplier of aftermarket parts. This radiator doesn't really live up to the hype: the sweat quality is a bit questionable. The tongues are crooked and the seams are so high that they interfere with installation. The design is questionable. This is nominal for NA6 Miata (ie 90-93). However, with an air conditioner, you have to unclip the AC heatsink, bend it to the side, and push really hard (!) to install it. It's not necessary, but Mishimoto messed up the
