🔥 Mishimoto MMRAD-WRX-01: High-Performance Aluminum Radiator for Subaru WRX/STI 2001-2007 Review

Last week I used the Mishimoto heatsink and fans I installed last week and noticed a big difference in cooling. In heavy traffic, the coolant temperature exceeds 200 °, but as soon as I start driving, the temperature drops to 160-180 ° almost immediately. Extremely easy to install. Used in conjunction with an aftermarket overflow, mixing reservoir and mixing radiator fan with G-Plus hoses.

installation is awful, i had to go with oem fan holes because the radiator bracket was out of order. The heatsink is too thick, causing my passenger OEM fan to melt from the heat of the header. Although it doesn't touch the collector, it's so close that the heat has started to melt the fan blades. I use a Perrin Equal Length Big Tube Header. I contacted Mishimoto and their solution was cut into the car for a bottom bracket modification.

Works very well so far. I want them to change the location of the drain hole. It's hard to get to and gets very messy if you don't use the factory drain plug. I would also like them to include both required caps for my application or just replace the cap that actually fits on the RADIATOR. Some may be a little confused as the radiator cap needs to be removed and used on the EXPANSION TANK. At least for my application.
