Fixed overheating problem

96 according to OEM stats. Radiator and hoses replaced. still hot. Paste this performance metric. The vehicle is operating below half the temperature scale. if you have a honda with pressure pipe. That's the thermostat you need. it's worth every dollar

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • security

Great replacement for Thermostats

I used this thermostat to replace the factory OEM. Just holding this thermostat in my hand I can say that it is well made. The sealing ring is thick and durable. It has been installed for about 6 months with no leaks or problems. I would definitely buy this again.

Pros
  • Engine Cooling and Climate Control
Cons
  • Frequency

Slightly lowers the temperature

I bought this thermostat to fit a 1999 Honda Accord 2.3 VTEC that was having overheating issues. Due to the extreme temperatures inside the car, all sorts of oil leaks occurred, so the owner wanted to keep the engine temperature as low as possible. This is a well built part, almost identical to the Honda OEM part. It's 10 degrees colder, which means the thermostat opens at 68 instead of 78 degrees. Installation is easy, and unlike some Mishimoto thermostats, the gasket on this one fits right…
