Excellent knee pads at a great price

I like it a lot. They fit great and have saved my knees from some hard wood floors a few times. After playing volleyball countless Saturday mornings in a row, I was covered in bruises. So my husband and I decided that we should probably invest in a pair of knee pads. This is exactly what I needed. Great fit and I have big feet. 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds.

Good knee coverage and firm padding

I play co-league indoor volleyball and have had them for about a year now. They hide my legs perfectly! I got 2 severe burns on my shins on the gym floor wearing 2 other knee pads. Two such cases were enough for me, so I searched Amazon and found what I was looking for here. I'm 5ft 1" and my legs are thinner but they fit great and cover my knees to my shins and haven't had a single burn since. Excellent quality! The padding is still good for diving and the black hasn't faded after a number ofโ€ฆ

Knee pads aren't worth it

I've been playing volleyball for 15 years and Mizuno is my favorite brand of volleyball gear. I was looking for a replacement for my old Mizuno knee pads so naturally I looked for the same brand. Even if you know how to dive, you can't help yourself when there's some weight on your knees. My previous knee pads were really good at absorbing most of the impact, but it wasn't. I probably shouldn't have worn them. They are thin and look very cheap. I've used them a few times and thought maybe theyโ€ฆ

Great for Gardening

By gardening I mean the combat gardening I do in my yard. Kneeling in the mud with ivy removal, mass throwing of daylilies, planting of local herbs 3 at a time but you have 15 minutes, it's 9pm and the mosquitoes are terrible. For regular gardening, I just wear my long shorts or go barknee. I have reviewed garden knee pads and the choice is indeed for the construction and the straps - in my opinion - restrict blood flow behind the knee and cause pain. Mizuno pads are comfortable, non-slip, easy

Thin and beautiful, nothing for caves!

These are good knee pads, not bulky at all. They have a nice low profile. They look good even if their coverage area is small. These thin shields are better suited if you want a sleek look plus some protection (no repeat hits for literally hours)! You look really sharp. Please don't do what my husband did and don't take these caves if you have to crawl more than a mile! If you use them for serious cave crawling you're going to have a bad time. I'm not deducting a star from them, even if theyโ€ฆ

Best Knee Pads for BJJ

I have half a dozen of these and wear them in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The floor is already matted but I need extra protection from falls on my knees, constant pressure on my knees etc. These are by far my favorite brazilian jiu jitsu knee pads and I have tried several brands. They're comfortable, inexpensive, offer good protection, are durable, and have a low profile (out of the way). I'm 6ft 1in, 200lbs, fairly large legs and they are snug but not too snug at all. They stay in place throughoutโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Can't remember

PROS: It's a good 8 inch length and doesn't fall off like my old Mizuno knee pads when I slide around the volleyball court (not sure if it's because it is new, so it hasn't stretched that much yet). CONS: Poor quality. Not enough padding, which is the most important part of the knee pad. I was on my knees digging for a ball playing volleyball and it wasn't even hard on my knees but I felt the hard ground on my knees quite a bit. My knee hurt a lot. I had an old Mizuno knee pad with a thickerโ€ฆ
