Very disappointed with my rating

I have been wearing Mizuno shoes for many years and have always been very happy with them. However, I am very disappointed in this pair as the inner heel is worn. I bought this pair in April and run 20-25 miles every week which means I've only run about 550 miles in these shoes and they are already falling apart. Not sure yet if I will try other Mizuno shoes or buy another brand.

Pros
  • grandchildren loved her
Cons
  • Shoes may not fit

fake shoes; Not original.

I already have this pair and am very happy with it. The new pair I got from Revain are completely fake. It feels like the sole is made of plastic.

Pros
  • Great comfortable shoes
Cons
  • Shoes can be difficult to break in

Very poor quality, started falling apart after less than a dozen socks

I bought these Mizunos because the brand has a good reputation. I don't know why now. These shoes, at least in this design, are junk. After wearing them twice I found that I couldn't wear them long distances, they pinched on the balls of my feet and frayed a bit on the heels. In addition, the legs in them are very hot, they do not breathe at all. Frustrating, but still usable for activities other than long-distance running. After wearing them about a dozen times, mostly just for walking, I…

Avoid this shoe

Sorry but I usually like these shoes. The shoes are really uncomfortable on the ball of your foot. I don't recommend it and I'll be back, I've been wearing the shoes for over a week or so and just don't feel right. Avoid this pattern.

  • Well built

Flat Feet, Dropped Ankles, Midsole Buckle

I did not run for several years as I had several injuries which I was recovering from and had gained weight during the recovery period. I'm just starting to walk again, so I'm doing it very slowly. One mile at a time, to be precise. I've only ridden about 3 miles in these shoes (three runs of a mile) so they're not even close to breaking in, but so far they feel pretty good. They fit well, stability is good, the ride is smooth. I have normal "I'm overweight and just walking again" pain, but no…

Nice to feel! best in shoes

I have had many Mizuno running shoes and keep coming back to them. The Wave Shadow 2 is lighter than many of them but retains a stable feel. They also broke faster than any other I had. Mizuno gave me another reason to come back.

  • Confident
Cons

Minzunos. Make no mistake

I've bought many "Wave.x" Mizuno's over the years. They fit comfortably every time. Last for several months of hard training every other day and long walks (10 km/day). Great shopping. I don't mind old models so I'm just happy with a good price and my size.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Can hurt

Nice looking shoe

I ordered a green pair and a blue pair for my twins. This rating is solely based on the looks of the shoe. If the shoe doesn't hold up to use I'll revisit this review and say that $110 seems a little pricey (I see the orange pair listed at $89 and that seems more reasonable) .

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Only available in black

I liked them so much I bought a spare pair

I wore them to my first 70.3 triathlon, rode them about 40 miles in training and they were great. Very comfortable for running 13+ miles. I also found them easy to put on without taking them off, yet still feel secure in my foot. I didn't want to spend time tying my laces mid-race, so it saved me from having to buy laceless laces. The size seems pretty close but a little small. If you're between sizes the size will definitely go up, but I'm my normal size and they worked despite being a little…

Great lightweight sneakers

Full disclosure: Everyone has a favorite brand and Mizuno is mine. I've tried other brands over the past two years because I didn't like Mizuno's current offerings, but this was a pleasant surprise. They are incredibly light, fit perfectly overall and the price is great. These two are a bit stiff and designed for midfoot runners who need speed. shoes run small; I would recommend increasing the size by 1/2.
