Perfect fit for the 2006 Ford Fusion SE Power Driver Seat. It took 10 minutes to install and I saved over $300 by doing it myself.

This is one of those "are you sure it works" items. Just because it costs less than 10% of the price of the same item the car dealer wanted for it. It was a plug and play replacement and then a sip and grin.

The dealer wanted over $350 for this part and then I had to pay for the installation. ARG! This is a (after sale) part and it works great, I just plugged it in and my seat is brand new. Good service. Received quickly in excellent condition.

Purchased to replace the seat controls on my 2005 Mustang. Installation is not easy, you have to remove and disassemble the seat to access it. All in all, you should be able to do this in under an hour. The switch itself is solid and works as it should. So far there are no problems.

Can't believe a Ford dealer would want $313 for this part! The hardest part of the installation is removing the plastic side panel from the seat. The seat recline lever will pop out instantly if you do it right. You don't have to remove the spring clip first, it's designed to pop open when the lever is pushed directly off the shaft.

I've already sat in the chair to take the old switch apart and see if it could be salvaged (spoiler alert, obviously I couldn't so I'm considering me again). When this happened it took less than 5 minutes to come back and do the exchange. Very simple, and now my seat slides back. Note that my old switch's trim matches this one as well. To make sure everything matched, I just reused them.

So I recently replaced this shifter in the driver's seat of my '06 Mustang. I checked online, it seems to be a very common problem on 05-09 Mustangs. use the same switch anyway, the seat doesn't move forward anymore because of the wrong design, i thought all along it was the motor, but these switches are easy to replace and it helped for the price and quality, you can definitely can't beat highly recommended.

The same switch was $180-$260 at my local auto parts stores so $30 was a great deal. Fitted my 2012 Ford Taurus perfectly and fixed the problem (driver's seat was moving in all directions except rear). I installed this switch myself a few weeks ago and haven't had any trouble adjusting the driver's seat since. It only took a socket (can't remember what size - I think it was 10mm) and a flathead screwdriver to install.
