Perfect for sourdough sandwich bread

I love this one! I bake a lot of crusty sourdough loafs and they’re amazing for everything but not the best for making a sandwich that needs to fit in a lunchbox of a 10 year old. My step daughter always struggles with the regular ones, so I got this one and it solved the problem! Now understand that it will not have a thick crust with this, simply not possible. This is no cast iron and you don’t preheat it before placing the dough into it, but it’s not intended for thick crusts. It will give…

Pros
  • The MONFISH muffin pan is incredibly versatile and can be used to bake cupcakes, muffins, mini cheesecakes, and more
Cons
  • Could be difficult to remove cupcakes or muffins from the pan without damaging them

Nice Classic Bread Pan

I purchased the Monfish Loaf Bread Pan open top Rectangle loaf pan for baking bread carbon steel non stick loaf cake pan 9.5x5.75 inch because I LOVE to bake my own delicious fresh bread. It is the perfect size for that. I love the color of the metal and the fact that it is a nonstick pan. This is exactly what I needed and is a super nice bread pan.

Pros
  • The carbon steel material ensures even heat distribution, resulting in perfectly baked goods every time
Cons
  • May not be scratch resistant

Awesome pan! best in my review

I got this pan so I could make my whole grain sourdough bread nice and big for toast and sandwiches. As you can see, I still need to work on making enough dough to fill the pan! This was a double batch of my regular recipe, but that is for a smallish loaf. But the pan performed beautifully, the loaf fell right out and there is nothing stuck to the surface of the pan. The crust is evenly golden on all sides. I baked my whole grain bread at 400 for 45 minutes to reach an internal temp over 205.One

Pros
  • The coating also ensures that your muffins and cupcakes will come out perfectly shaped and evenly cooked
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high-altitude baking

Great way to make sandwich bread

I used to make my bread in a round Dutch oven, with obvious problems like size consistency. Now using this Pullman pan with great results. It’s the right sized slice for my restaurant use, bakes bread with a nice crust and consistent size. larger loaf means less end waste and it now gives me the additional option of offering house baked bread. After baking I refrigerate the loaf for an hour or two, split the loaf in 1/2 and then slice on my slicer on 16 or 17 setting, The pan is of a good gauge

Pros
  • Doesn’t quite fit into my Ninja Foodie, but can still use in oven.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to transport due to its size

Practice makes perfect

I first got interested in sandwich loaves when it became apparent that store-bought was okay, but not great and we needed portable lunches during Covid.Fast forward to the love affair with my Ankarsrum stand mixer and I set about to get a consistent product.First: this pan makes about a 1.5kg loaf, rather large, so in order to get it to come up to the correct level in the pan--just high enough to get the lovely diagonal lines, but not so much to get crazy in the enclosed space--I had to get my…

Pros
  • Makes great loafs with nice crust. Easy to remove the loaf after baking. Easy clean up.
Cons
  • Black stone coating may not be to everyone's taste

Misleading- they don’t all come with lids

Really irritated. The smaller rectangular loaf pan does not come with a lid. Makes no sense. The larger one does. I’ll be returning since this is not what I wanted.

Pros
  • The pan is both dishwasher safe and easy to hand wash, so it's a breeze to keep clean
Cons
  • Could be difficult to evenly distribute batter between the muffin cups

Sturdy & well made.

Very happy with this purchase. This is a heavy duty muffin pan. It seems to clean very easily. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • The black stone coating is scratch-resistant, so you don't have to worry about damaging your pan if you use metal utensils
Cons
  • May not be as suitable for cooking savory muffins or cupcakes

It is pretty durable

The Pan is pretty good overall. Durable, mostly nonstick but sometimes need to scrub things out. Water does get caught inside the lip which is annoying so after I wash it, I sometimes bake it to dry.

Pros
  • They are very easy to clean and bake evenly.
Cons
  • May not distribute heat evenly

I would recommend this pan for great muffins.

I do love that this pan does make larger muffins. If you do as instructed they come out very easily and cook evenly.I only gave it four stars because of the teensy extra work of having to pre heat the actual pan before filling it.I would recommend this pan.

Pros
  • The pan's nonstick coating makes it an excellent choice for those who are watching their calorie intake, as it eliminates the need for extra oil or butter
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all oven types

Works great! Easy to clean!

I made bread in my new Ninja Foodi OL-701 Smart Lid XL and it worked perfectly! Easy to clean up and still looks brand new. Gonna use it again today!

Pros
  • The black stone coating adds an extra layer of durability to the pan, ensuring that it will last for years to come
Cons
  • May not be as easy to use for beginner bakers

Perfect loaves the first time.

Made Pullman loaf using my Vienna bread recipe. Bread baked very evenly with a golden crust. Loaf just slipped out of the pan that I coated with a small amount of butter. Extremely easy to clean. The rippled surfaces of the pan gave the bread crust an interesting effect. Very happy with this pan.

Pros
  • love using it
Cons
  • The muffin cups may be too large for some recipes

So far I love it!: my feedback

This loaf pan makes a tall beautiful loaf of bread without the lid or perfect squares with the lid on. It’s super easy to clean and I hs e no complaints at at all after Baking several loaves of low carb bread in it!

Pros
  • The 6-cup jumbo size is perfect for when you need to make a large batch of baked goods, whether it's for a party or just to stock up your pantry
Cons
  • Nonstick coating may flake off over time

Gimme Some Lip!: my feedback

PROS: It's sturdy, it's heavy, non-stick (works better w/spray-on, like Pam), cleans-up well and easily.CONS: It ain't got no lip! Seriously, there's no "lip" on the sides or ends. nothing to grasp when moving it in/out/within the oven. it's hazardous; I've lost-hold several times, wearing oven mitts or using potholders, and having a lip would have prevented all of them.

Pros
  • The pan's high-quality materials and construction make it an excellent investment for anyone who loves to bake
Cons
  • May not be as easy to use as silicone or ceramic muffin pans

Good, durable, well made pan

I use this pan for making home made tomato sauce. It works great but the nonstick coating is starting to come off. I believe this is self inflicted as I like a slight char in my tomato sauce.

Pros
  • The pan is extremely easy to clean, thanks to the nonstick coating
Cons
  • May require extra care to prevent rusting

Works great in my review

Only made one loaf of bread in the pan so far. But it turned out great. Great size for sandwiches. I just wish it had a hinged lid instead of slide on.

Pros
  • A nice pan
Cons
  • Nonstick coating may contain harmful chemicals

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very poor construction.

Pan same out of the boc with a rattle. Not with the lid on, just a rattle as if the body was not welded properly. Then the lid. No little ledge to lock it in place on the pan, and very loose fit. Very disappointing poor import quality. Returned it and ame sup satisfied with my new US made pan.

Pros
  • Just made a perfect milk soft loaf using this and it just looks like the one in the ad image :)
Cons
  • May require extra seasoning prior to use

Great purchase in my review

Have used our pans 3 times now and so far they are really great! I followed the instructions on prepping the pans and they work beautifully! We get tall bread that fits in the toaster nicely when turned on its side.

Pros
  • This 6-well muffin pan with Excellent heat conduction and black color for special stone finishing. The 6 cup muffin tin is easy clean and release.
Cons
  • Nonstick coating may wear down more quickly than expected
