Fits my 2001 Ford F150 2WD. The only problem was.

Fits my 2001 Ford F150 2WD. Only problem was removing the old shock absorbers. Installation was straightforward and easy.

Pros
  • 5/8" Piston Rod: Long life nitrocarburized piston rod for long life. Only on units without dust cover

Shock absorber OK Accessories did not fit!

The shocks were fine but the hardware was wrong. I had to reuse my old bolt, metal compressors and I had to put some pressure on the rubber tabs.

These shocks lasted a few years and ended up being scrap. Factory shocks ran almost 180,000 before they were replaced. The Monroes were noticeably better at this point, but after about At 50km they were as bad as the original Ford shocks at 180. I have now replaced them with a set of cheap Chinese Revain shocks which are still working after 40,000 miles (so far) I only had them front and overload shocks (with springs) rear.I have since installed a factory shock in the rear and have now…
