bought four. for me and my wife.

bought four of them. for my minivan and my wife. they all return from the compress at a very different time to become aware of the situation. For example, in a car, the left side bounces twice and the right side bounces once.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Weight

Everyone in the reviews says how easy they are to install (Chrysler T&C 2001) and they're up to trying to loosen them rear shock absorber lower bolt. This bottom screw is difficult to loosen. The bottom nut can be easily removed with a pry bar. but this bottom screw!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Good damper but good for damper

Good damper. I went with a slightly heavier task as the back of our van has weak springs. The only consistency is that the shocks came fully extended and did not come with a seat belt to make installation easier. Make the installation a little more difficult, but still not difficult. All in all a huge improvement on the ride, we'll see how they hold up.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

Waste of money on shocks, struts and suspension

I installed them on my 2005 Chrysler Town & Country and the ride was terrible. After a few months, the van had a distinct knock at the rear. Enough. I have a set of OEM Mopar and Presto shocks. great ride, no rumble. These shocks were a waste of money and time spent installing them. I can't believe Monroe makes such a bad product.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

Reliable performance: Parts

I installed a pair of these on a Chrysler Town and Country along with a pair of matching A-pillars. The combination restored or improved the original mileage of a car with 90,000 miles. My kids noticed the difference too. Braking and overall control bring a lot more confidence now. Installation is easy and quick with the right tools.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good replacement for 1998 Dodge Caravan Sport 3.3L Flex factory shock absorbers. With these dampers, the rear of the van sits at exactly the right height. The old ones were blown out and leaking, almost no compression left in them. They have eliminated sway and rebound. Of course, given the condition of the old ones, any smack would help. But they are pretty close to factory ride quality. Time will tell about the durability. Buy with confidence!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great driving improvement. Easy Install

I installed these shocks as an OE replacement/upgrade on a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 135,000 miles. Very easy to install. Great driving improvement. I also installed new strut assemblies at the same time for a complete ride upgrade. When installing, support the vehicle under the frame (not behind the rear axle). Attach the top of the shock absorber first. Use a jack under the axle to adjust the height to match the screw location on the underside of the shock absorber. After securing the van

Pros
  • This is Amazing
