Good Price: Spare Parts

Easy Installation. It took about 10 minutes to install each shock. The 2006 Chev Uplander's handling has been improved. You usually can't go wrong with Monroe shocks.

Good suspension handling

After replacing both rear shocks with SensaTrac myself, my minivan no longer rocks back and forth on bumps in the road. Good chassis control. It's not a hard ride either.

1998 Pontiac Montana

I bought these for my 1998 Pontiac Montana with air suspension. I didn't want to spend a lot of money to replace the air compressor and air shocks so this was an alternative. $30 saved compared to local retail! The ride is great and noticeably better. Easy repair in 1 hour. Shipping was fast and the deal was great.

Effective in fighting rebound, difficult to install.

Once installed these shocks do the job well. The car has improved handling and a good ride. Unfortunately, there is a metal tube in the middle of the rubber isolator at the top of the shock that has not been fully inserted into this piece of rubber. The bolt that attaches the top of the shock absorber to the car needs to go through this metal tube. Unfortunately, I had to spend a lot of time getting this tube to slide properly through the rubber of both shocks. I ended up using the bottom…
