Size matters. good for shocks

I have a 2015 Hyundai Sontana. I wanted to replace the bad one and take it off, but it's the wrong size. It was about 3 inches smaller than the old ones.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Easy to change and drives great

As bad as it was to change a few things on the Kia, it was very easy to do it yourself. You can't change your clothes in the trunk. About 15 minutes aside. The trip is great.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Out of style

Do not buy very cheap stuff

I bought a shock like Monroe and it fits my 2015 Sonata. The box doesn't say Monroe, my original has a rounded end and this one has an open end in a U shape. Very disappointed. wasted my time

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Will be added later

Big shocks! for shock absorbers

Bought to replace the stock shock absorbers, initial installation was very easy but ended up having rear bumps when going over bumps. After removing the packaging and checking again, I found a thick washer/wrench that needed to be installed (not on the original shocks) to fit the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo. Now with a washer it makes no noise at all and drives great! Conclusion: Always look at the packaging.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only
