They do their job well

These dampers have really strengthened my rear triangle. They give more stability in corners. Even with 700-pound power tools in the back. You will need two jack stands to install them or the jack stands. After the old ones come loose, you'll need the power of the jack to squeeze them together. Unless you are the Hulk. You look great too. They add that off-road look that everyone is looking for. The only negative is that they can be heard. It is hard to explain. it is definitely an audibleโ€ฆ

Monroe 58644 Sensa Trac Load Matched Shock

Bought these for my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and removed the Bilstein shocks. We first used them in our Chrysler minivan, which has a fairly heavy load on the rear wheels, and they performed exceptionally well for vehicle weight control and general on-road handling. If you have a Trailblazer or a factory Bilstein GMC Envoy they are not the best as they are cheap. Bilstein have the best shock absorbers for these cars and the ones I currently rent have been replaced by me 3 years later. returnโ€ฆ

Shocks, Struts & Suspension Initial Rating

I rate these as low to begin with and will update when I get a new pair. First, they come in a box with no protection. They must be strong but not bent or damaged. Second, I spent 90 minutes assembling one side and just the top hole. I'm not a mechanic so I thought maybe I'm just doing something wrong until I pulled the caliper out and measured the upper bushings. The butt was 42mm long while Monroe was 46mm. I went in to arrange an exchange and Revain recommends contacting the manufacturerโ€ฆ

Great addition to my Trailblazer

I installed them on my 2004 Trailblazer LT last week. I am very satisfied so far. I was interested in something that would help improve ground clearance and back stability with moderate loads. Sometimes we drag things, but not very often. We transport a lot of freight, go on vacation or visit family several times a year. Our "family situationโ€ changed abruptly after we bought our short-wheelbase Trailblazer without the factory third-row seat. We added a custom bench seat in the third row atโ€ฆ
