Ideal for the application.

Perfect match for the 2002 Dodge Durango 4x4, a better OEM comparison shock absorber could not be desired. There are no frills, but the ride quality is good, there's generally no noise, just what I needed. I wouldn't say it's made for heavy use, but for daily hard tarmac riding it should do exactly what you expect it to.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Fairly good

Great shock absorbers for my Durango 99

Great kicks for my '99 Durango. The car felt like new (mainly because all 4 old ones were easily squeezed between my 2 index fingers), straight bolt and very easy. I don't ride much off-road, but I ride on the beach quite a bit and most of the time I almost don't even feel like driving in ruts, can't wait to see how much better I get in the snow. Winter. I would definitely recommend them to anyone even thinking they need new ones.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Can't remember

Before the new shock absorbers were fitted the tires were very bad - the maintenance staff attributed the abnormal wear to the non-rotating tires BUT the tires were changed every 5km. Checked alignment and reported everything is OK. Tires changed and new dampers installed. NO MATTER! The truck drives like new. The suspension is hard. I am happy. Monroe advertises a 50,000-kick life, which I don't like. During this time, the program includes a…

Good deal and improved drivability

First kudos to Revane. The shock absorbers arrived in 3 days even though I used Super Save free shipping. The price was significantly lower than local sources and competing online sellers. Now for the reflex shocks. They're a good shock for the money (even if you pay at prices found on other sites). Are they a special shock absorber for heavy SUVs and trucks with jacks. no But for a truck that mainly drives back roads/highways but drives on washboard/gravel every day, they're great. I will…
