Monroe 911223 Reflex Truck Absorber Review

Monroe shock absorbers are second to none. I've been using them for 30 years and they've never let me down. These new Reflex models on my Ram 2500 eliminated the wobble and dive of stock shocks.

They charged me triple the price because I got it here in the garage and it's the same product. They gave me a price sheet that I jumped on at Revain and that was a fraction of the price. You can't go wrong with American-made Monroe parts.

Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins diesel engine should have heavier shock absorbers to keep it from wobbling. Those shocks aren't strong enough to get the job done. They are better suited for 1500s with V-8s.

Bought 4 of these in October 2014 for my 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 5.9L 4x4. I put them on for 50,000 miles to improve handling and reduce side-to-side sway. That does not work. Very soft hits. Worse than the stock shock I took off. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Not to mention Monroe didn't send me a 4 for 3 discount after I sent all the paperwork required. I take them off, spend my money and buy Bilstein shock absorbers.

I bought these over a year ago but decided to wait to post a review. Shock absorbers came whole with no damage. The stretch bands were still on and holding the piston in compression until I was ready to install them. On my 2005 2500, the front shocks do not dampen as well as the new Mopar shocks.
