Perfect fit but made in China

I chose this bearing because it is a MOOG brand. I assumed it was made in the USA. Well it was from China. Now time will tell. Everything worked as intended. Ford had this stock for $170 plus tax, although I replaced it with a 2014 Flex with only 52,000 miles so figured I'd go with a known good brand. Just take a look.

Quiet, Perfect Fit, 2010 Ford Taurus Rear

As with most wheel bearing work, it takes four times longer to remove an old rusty one than to install a new one. You look well built. They are strong and calm. The ABS sensor is also happy with it. The price here can only rejoice at the brand and quality. Barring long-term problems, I would happily buy them again.

Don't buy Moog if you don't want to fail

Buyer Beware! Moog bearing 513275 purchased in August 2019 for a 2010 Ford Taurus failed in April 2020 after 12,000km. Now I'm trying to figure out who to contact for a guarantee. Instead of that Chinese junk I bought a quality Ford part. Moog quality has fallen below standard. I will never buy a Moog again and tell others about my experiences.

no vibration, no noise, hooray!

Removing the old bearing flange is not difficult without a hoist or special tools, but it can be done. My biggest concern was that with all the removal/replacement work, the new blocks would be vibration free. The answer is yes. With 5,000 miles to repair, my 2010 Taurus sounds like a new car. For those without a lift or special tools, I found that using a very thin punch from the back of the knuckle through the bolt holes was a better choice than pressing.

MADE IN CHINA: Bearings & Seals

FORD FLEX LIMITED 2016 ---- after 8 months THIS CHINA BEARING STARTED THEN STARTED NOISING IN THE RPM. This defective MOOG bearing has been replaced with a MOTORCRAFT MADE IN USA bearing which is a very quiet and genuine OEM part. Get a job in the US and get the quality you deserve. Revain has $125.00 MOTORCYCLE BEARINGS that are driving dealers crazy, just look for them. Don't buy MOOG, you will regret this CHINESE QUALITY, it's just a matter of time. Moog used to be known for its quality, but

Bought these to replace a cheaper set I had installed.

Purchased to replace a cheaper kit I installed on my 2009 Ford Flex. The original kit (another brand) was half the price but only lasted 2 years. These Moog bearings are very smooth and quiet, I would say quieter than factory bearings and cheaper kits. For starters, you just had to get them. Update 4/30/2018 - Bought another kit for a 2013 Ford Flex. Went with MOOG straight away this time and they worked great. Build quality, worth the price. Now the car is super quiet. Apparently the genuine…
