The right part for my 2003 Yukon SLT 4wd

Perfect match for my 2003 Yukon SLT. I originally ordered 81069 HD springs (pictured) but they were too big and stiff. The 81071 spring is closer to the stick height for a smoother ride. The 81069 HD spring is 1.25 inches taller and much stiffer (see photo). Installing 81069 also requires a spring compressor. If you don't have an HD truck or off-road package, order 81071 to restore factory specs.

Pros
  • Worn or loose coil springs can cause premature tire wear due to vehicle misalignment
Cons
  • Clarity

Easy assembly: Replacement parts

Raised my Yukon XL back to ride height. Still has a great ride with added stability. I somehow cut my rear anti-roll bar in half so the anti-roll bar wasn't connected when the springs were installed and it still worked great even when rocking hard back and forth on the road. There are two different spring rates for these coil springs, the heavy springs I've read about actually raise the rear end about 2-3 inches or so. The ones I received were half an inch to three quarters of an inch.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Replace your air shock absorbers today!

Love 'Em - Autoride replaced with a 2008 LTZ Tahoe. They ride great and have enough power to pull when needed. Also, I was worried about sagging in the back of the car with fat people after removing the air shock absorbers, but the car sat level with 4 adults in the back seats. Buy these dampers to make the ride smoother - wife finds car rides better now than new - http://amzn.to/2bJtsEV If you get a "Service Suspension System" message like I did after removing it done the air shock, get these…

03 Suburban Rear Coil Springs

My 10 year old daughter used to get car sickness on a regular basis while sitting in the third row of our 03 Suburban. I didn't pay much attention (I know, dad of the year) until I had to sit in the back myself. It seems that my wife always got better when she drove on a straight road. Our Suburban featured slack suspension and the shocks were long gone. Because this suspension uses softer springs than conventional ones, her back trembled terribly. I went with these springs and some new KYG…

Pros
  • Engineered for less stress and longer life
Cons
  • Not bad
