🚗 Enhance Vehicle Performance with Moog CC849 Coil Spring Set Review

Installed this on my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria yesterday. The handling is much softer and I haven't changed the front springs yet. All squeaks and groans disappeared, as did the sharp bounce when overcoming the smallest bumps. If your car is shaking like crazy I would definitely recommend replacing the coil springs.

What can I say? If you're not familiar with Moog and Cargo Coils, I'm not here to teach you. I've been an auto mechanic my whole life and these guys took over the market. They are better. You just have to accept it and move on. I've installed too many of them and know their specs so when I needed them again for my other car it was a no brainer.

We got rid of a leaking airbag system and now we're rock solid. It's 1993, so what? One less headache. And it's not that hard to install if you have all day. Couldn't loosen the shock bolts (start soaking them first if you do this) so I borrowed a compressor for the springs and then installed them. Mine came with rubber isolators, didn't have to buy an extra kit.

I used these to replace a blown air spring on a 1996 Crown Victoria. The ride is much smoother and variable speed, even with a heavy load in the car, it no longer bottoms out. These appear to be very high quality nibs and I'm expecting Moogs. I have purchased many Moog trailers over the years and have never been disappointed. The price was very good.
