Description of MOOG Chassis Products K7106 Idler

Problem Solver powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for reduced friction and enhanced strength and stability. Moog engineered steel composition results in a stronger component. Heavy duty design. Greaseable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear. Loose or worn chassis parts can lead to premature tire wear.

Terrible experience with suspension upgrade

After I put it to the test on my automotive, i was incredibly disappointed with the performance of this product. My ride was much bumpier than before and it didn`t seem to improve the handling either .The only upside was the easy installation process. Unfortunately, the cons far outweighed the pros in this case. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a suspension upgrade..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting materials for extended use.
Cons
  • Priced higher than some other idlers on the market.

Disappointing Suspension Upgrade

This idler did not deliver the performance enhancement advertised in the automotive parts store. While installation was straightforward, the handling of my vehicle remained unchanged, with noticeable wear after just a few months..

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • No performance improvement

better than stock

I like Moog parts not only because like this part they are often made in the USA but also because they are well engineered. This and the Delphi were the only two wishbones that had grease fittings on each end. Unlike the Delphi, the Moog part included a spare bolt, usable castle nut, and detailed instructions including torque. It was installed on a 2001 Dodge 2500 van.

Pros
  • handsfree
