Doesn't fit my car, APP says it does

Doesn't fit my truck even though the app filter says it does. Will send back. I give it 5 rides because it was delivered quickly and in good condition and I'm sure it's a great product for the right car. This is a real MOOG.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Wrong part. For car with stand.

Definitely not for the '98 Ford Ranger. Spring dampers are designed for vehicles with spring struts. Returning is easy. Got a new part and installed it. Referred to as a coil spring seat/isolator. Check out the energy suspension at Revain.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Modern

A good product that is easy to forget.

While I can't imagine replacing coil springs without using new seats, it's hard to get excited about a piece of molded rubber. They fit perfectly and the fact that there is no noise up front has a lot to do with their contribution to the suspension change I just did. These are the parts that are meant to be forgotten. They just do their job quietly.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Some cons

Looks like just a pompous piece of plastic

I was replacing some of the control arm bushings on my old Ford Ranger and figured I should probably replace them too while I had the spring coil disconnected. Mine were confusing. They had a plastic feel while the originals were more of a nylon/flex construction. Time will tell if they are an improvement over the original equipment. The fit was good.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Pretty ok
