I was happy to see that this would fit my 2001hd 2500hd 8.1L Chevy. I had to cut off part of the metal box and bend it a bit, everything fits, but hardly if the tube was just an inch or two longer it would be perfect. My factory airbox collapsed and this seems like a great fix

This is a really good product, you may need to move around and my MAF sensor didn't match the pipe perfectly but I fitted it with a part from the original usage So far it's been really good and I would definitely recommend this product. It's not 100% complete, screw on some old parts to make it work

I bought it for my LS, changed 91 f150. All in all it's a good deal. A 90 degree boot to the throttle body is a bit cheap. This will probably fail in the future. But a $16 silicone boot will fix that. And the air filter doesn't slip around as much as I'd like. But he won't fall. Then another one is this one. i like this money If you are on a budget and want to forego the standard airbox. Then this is for you.

I am very satisfied with the product! Installation was very easy. I have a Chevy Tahoe 5.3L V8 with the flex fuel option. Pros: I definitely feel the power increase and I like the raspy sound when accelerating. It settles down after accelerating and I like that. If I drive normally, I get 2 mpg (mpg) more when driving in the city. And a 5mpg increase in fuel economy on the highway. Cons: Clamps are very cheap and don't tighten well. This prevented a 5 star rating.

I installed it on a 2004 Avalanche. You must use the MAF sensor adapter as a female connector with the new hose. The bracket that connects the chrome tube to the case is not welded in the correct position. I made a clamp to connect them. Otherwise everything else was direct.
