Mopar 6805 9549AA Trans Filter Review

I will spend extra money on a Mopar Trans filter to avoid other aftermarket failures. Ricky Bobby Dodge, the shifting is smooth.

The right part for my 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler. The rear sheet metal screws right next to the passenger and driver side exhaust junctions were a real PITA. I started skipping the filter change at 50,000 miles but am glad I went ahead and replaced it.

This MOPAR transmission OEM filter fits just like an OEM filter. It's no more expensive than an aftermarket filter, so I rely on OEM parts for jobs that need to get done right the first time and last many miles. This time it's MOPAR, but I use the same philosophy when using BMW OEM parts to repair my BMW vehicles.

03 Liberty with 42rle. It is not known when the last transmission was carried out. The TCC or solenoid showed signs of sticking when the throttle was deflected at idle in D or R mode. Drop the oil pan, change the filter and fluid, clean the magnet and voila, it's ready to go! Don't skimp on spare parts. Service. Come Mopar!

High quality MOPAR replacement part. I simply installed this in my Liberty KK with 42RLE as part of the transmission service (new fluid, filter, gasket, oil pan). Installation was easy and the package includes a new small rubber gasket that you need to put on top of the filter before installing it on the car. After you put the filter in the gearbox, install two bolts (T25 hex bolts for my car) and you're done. Will update later if I have any issues with the filter, but I don't expect that…
