Excellent purchase! in spare parts

We appreciate the cost and ease of installation. This saved us a lot of money. The retailer charged about $700 for it and a drive replacement.

Perfect solution! Best Parts

Worked great on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. My passenger side air conditioner failed and it was because that part was broken. Replaced an hour later and cold air conditioning again!

  • New
Cons
  • So So

Collapsed immediately. Scrap

Broke immediately. Garbage. Interestingly, this is a fake Mopar being sold as a Mopar. lasted 2 days. All three we bought broke. DO NOT BUY THESE, I suspect they are really old stock or fake.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some little things

Left the heavier stuff to the mechanics. It was easy to do.

The passenger side of my 2012 jeep grand cherokee was stuck in heat mode while the driver side was cold or hot as i wanted, replacing the passenger side solved the problem. The old one broke when I pulled it off. Now I have heat or cold whenever I want.

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • dull packaging

Works great buy 2 - ABS

Great solution but I recommend you do as I did and order 2. Just in case. After installation the alignment was a bit off and after a cycle or two I heard a slight "ticking" after each rotation. I took it apart again and saw that the new gear had a small crack from the driving force. Reconfigured and put the second and PERFECT and quiet.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons

Works best in the braking system

Looks slightly different to the factory part but can easily be swapped out. The problem with the inner door has been solved. If you replace this, you can also replace the drive. It's not much bigger and you still have to remove the old one to get to this part. I think my actuator failed and caused the factory gear to snap. But now it's no problem once I've replaced both. Get that flat ratchet screwdriver that people recommend. Really helps to get to the internal torx screw on the actuator.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not the best

It's amazing how much a little plastic gear can do

The driver's side of our 2011 Jeep GC gave off nothing but heat. I curse Jeep for a) making an integral part of the HVAC system out of plastic and b) making an integral part of the HVAC system almost inaccessible. Almost a cue. It took some time, but using a shortened #20 Torx, we removed the actuator and braided this part (the fragments fell out during disassembly). I've heard it's a lot easier on the passenger side. I hope I don't know. Look for helpful videos on YouTube.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style
