A bit expensive for the size of the bag

A bit expensive but the quality is good and the birds love it. Unfortunately, high seed prices seem to be just a hobby. The birds love it but I would like a bigger bag for what I spent.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Functionality

Clean, fresh sunflower hearts and chips

Great zero waste feed for wild birds. Mostly whole seeds, some parts. Unlike some other brands. Always seems fresh, no shells, no dirt, no stones, no stalks etc. Seems to keep very well too. Even if the bag is open.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Birds love it Birds

I live in the Northeastern United States and this is my favorite seed. The birds seem to love it even more than the Nyjer. I get gold, house finches, woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, cats, crested cresteds and even an oriole. Can't say enough about this seed.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required

Finches love them! - Birds

Domestic finches can't get enough of these! I have to refill my feeder a lot more often than I used to because they eat the seeds so quickly, but that's okay because I know they love them so much! Less messy than seeds in the shell, but still a little messy because birds are messy eaters.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Something Different

Finches are returning to my patio

I bought this to attract the neighborhood finches. I hoped they would return to a new feeder. It seemed to help; Goldfinch, House Finch, Tits and Tufted Tits have all flown into the little Lucite feeder that is now taped to my patio window. I'm glad I can hear her trills again.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Best in food

Received a bird feeder for the holidays and we bought some quality but random seeds. The seeds attracted all the sparrows in the area and crowded out all other birds. I did a little research and tried this product. Now our bird feeder attracts a variety of birds. Sparrows still come, but not in as large numbers and don't stay long after each feeding.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Worth the money for no mess under the meal bowls. Each seed is eaten. There are no cases. No mess. No waste. No problem. From large blue jays to tiny young lemon green little finches, they all love these unpeeled seeds. They know what it is and come back all day for more. Enjoy bird watching in your garden!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It's finch crack!

The automatic feeder is new. Spring in the Pacific Northwest. They raved about it. They lined up in the trees. exercise all day. Unfortunately, they ate 5-10 pounds a week. The price rose quickly. I replaced the Morningsong mix (I like the ones that are already deleted, it's less messy.) Traffic went down to zero. I checked the feed to see if the new feed was clogged. No, it flowed freely. And these birds carefully picked out the seeds and left the rest. Now I have several visitors every day…
