Worked best in pullers

I had no problems with the bearing puller. Maybe they remade it because the 5/8 and 27mm wrenches fit perfectly. Threads were clean. I pulled out 4 bearings in about 25 minutes.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Ideal for Harley wheel bearings.

This kit helped remove the rear wheel bearings on a 2017 Ultra and will fit almost any bike. FYI, the bearings in the rear pulley don't remove properly, it's a different tool. If you use this to remove the pulley bearing you risk splitting the pulley itself, they are hollow. I know from my own experience :-(

Use the right tool for the job.

Worked great for the front wheel bearings on my 2016 Street Bob. The lack of instructions was not a problem. To be honest I think anyone who doesn't know how to use it should find someone who knows how to use it or search for it on YouTube. Too bad I didn't buy it ahead of time and tried pulling the bearings out without it while screwing in the bearing spacer.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine

good value for money

worked great on my bike but some instructions would be helpful. I had to go to another brand for instructions. but for the price it served its purpose. Make sure you apply oil to the threads to avoid problems. You will also need a 1-1/16 wrench for the large nut and a 5/8 wrench for the other. in the installation part, a size of 19 mm to 3/4 inch was used. I didn't have the right wrench so I used a large adjustable wrench.

Worth the price in Pullers

After the catastrophic failure of the original Harley bearing on the front wheel of my FLHTCU at 23,000 miles, I began evaluating my options. I could take the wheel to my local Indy shop and pay like $100 to change bearings, take it to my local Harley shop and pay $200, or do it myself for a lot less. I like to do my work myself when I can because I don't have a schedule or production pressures and I trust myself to be more selective than I trust the average shop technician. I looked at the…
