Perfect Fit 2006 Ford Expedition King Ranch - My check engine light has stopped working (due to the "Check Fuel Cap" error)

Does not fit 2008 Explorer as stated. Apparently there are filler neck variations in the same model year. This should be stated in the description.

For some reason I was able to get the rod that secures the gas cap to go properly into the designated hole in the gas cap, but I was able to secure it with a zip tie on the Lightning. never mind. Everything is working fine

I bought this to replace a latched gas cap on a 2008 Ford Expedition. I'm tired of having to physically open the gas cap every time I fill up. This cap fitted perfectly, took 30 seconds to install and has been perfect so far. No complaints.
