Motorcraft JK6873EA V Ribbed Belt Review

This automotive belt has been nothing but trouble. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I installed it properly but it failed in less than a week. The design seems to be subpar and the quality is lacking. The only positive is that it was fairly affordable, but that's not worth the hassle of constant replacements and repairs. Save yourself the headache and invest in a higher-quality product.

Replacing the old belt with the new one took less than 5 minutes. The old one had a small crack at around 80k, or it could be age related. If you have an 03 Sport Trac this belt is for you if you are looking for a genuine part.
