I would give this teapot 0 stars if it was an option. This teapot is 5 months old and already unusable. The whistling nose melted and fell off this morning. The use of this kettle in my house is minimal as only my wife uses it to boil water for tea in the morning. I've had many kettles in the past and they all last for years. But is it 1.5 months? Don't waste money.

The finish doesn't last!

I really liked the red color! If you frequently use a kettle on the hob, then this kettle is not for you! When you cook it, it gets fat and stuff! The redness goes away when you wash it! Then you get a silver teapot! If you don't wash it, it's greasy and looks gross, and who needs that in the kitchen? Then the whole washcloth is covered in red paint and you wonder what color that is. No, use pottery or something, but not this one! My sister in law has the same and she has the same! Don't waste…

I love this pan. I drink hot tea and instant coffee daily. I have 15 minute breaks during my work day (I work from home) and I have NO time for the kettle to boil in 15 minutes. The difference in why it cooks so much faster is the water usage. The kettle has a wider base that heats the water faster. To avoid rusting for as long as possible, place the kettle upside down in the kitchen sink or kitchen sink without opening the lid. It dries faster and reduces the chance of rust. The color is very…

Buyers Beware - Kitchen & Dining

When I'm shopping for something, I sometimes look for brands that have a market history. That's why I chose this article. The price was right, a well known brand and I needed a pot to boil water. a "win, win" situation or so I thought. From the start this pot gave off an odor that I could not identify. whenever I boiled water in it. I thought it might be. because he was new. About the third/fourth use. the smell still lingered and intensified. And to my complete astonishment and shock. the lid…

This teapot appears to be composed of old metal.

Maybe you're looking at this kettle right now and thinking: Wow, it's so cheap! Who needs an expensive kettle? It's just a kettle, right? How different can it actually be? If so, trust me, you are not alone. But I'm here to tell you it's not worth it. This teapot looks like it was made from the metal of old soup cans. What you say? An ill-fitting lid that only clicks into place when you put your body weight on it? A spout control that can only be opened by placing your fingers next to a hot…

Dangerous product

I don't usually like to write very negative reviews, but this product is DANGEROUS. I shouldn't have been tempted by the extremely low price. The grip and the "keep cool" grip are not the same at all. It doesn't matter whether you heat the water with the handle upwards, at an angle or slightly to the side. Maybe I got a defective one. But the handle gets hot. I started boiling the water just to test it and before it even boiled (because it wasn't whistling yet) I went to adjust its position on…

It's well built but I prefer the other.

I had a larger size from Mr. Kaffee and it was great. I've always found that I don't need that much water at once, so I either left the water on or didn't heat it as much. Not so hot what's up. When my previous kettle burned out (no fault of the kettle itself) I opted for a smaller size. The first was the 2 quart harpwell. I'm thinking of a 1.5 quart Carterton. Both are managed by Mr. Coffee. During the heating process, the handle of the kettle heats up first. So hot you can't use it with your…

Sharp-edged, filigree, inexpensive.

I washed it before first use and when I scrubbed the inside with a sponge there is a lip at the top where the lid goes in and it's very sharp inside, a real raw edge, razor sharp. it's the other way around. He immediately cut my thumb. Rounding or at least blunting the edge is easy, you can run another piece of carbide along it and blunt it. I don't know why they don't. In addition, there were several defects inside the teapot where the metal appeared to be somehow scratched and dented. I don't

Water for a heating pad and tea. AT THE SAME TIME😱😱😱

I have three kettles. One of them is a giant fight that can boil an entire gallon of water in 30 minutes. Thing is, when it's filled to the gallon it boils and squirts water everywhere so I have to work in batches. The other is an old rusty thing I've had for a few years and it ONLY boils less than a half gallon. I don't use this for tea because I don't want to contract any unknown diseases from eating rust. This is used to fill a hot water bottle that is only half full. (I bought two super…
