Does what it should.

This is the second MRA X-Creen I have purchased. I bought one for another bike and it worked so well I bought it for my BMW R1200GS. I had an issue with hitting my helmet at highway speeds. After the installation it's all gone. It would give me a headache after a long day of riding. What a relief! It is also very easy to install as you are provided with a template to drill holes. I used to buy 2-3 different windshields hoping this would fix the flapping (but it didn't) but now I just buy an…

High quality, installation could be easier

Really good parts. I believe this will take years, but they can help the user install it. For a permanent attachment when drilling through the windshield, they should include a drill bit. I need an odd size, 6mm, the next size up is 15/64, and the plexiglass/acrylic windshield requires a special drill. Regular wood/metal bits will easily pierce plastic backed windshields, I didn't take any chances and found the right size on ebay specifically designed for plexiglass/acrylic. They could have…

Great addition to my bike! It's worth it!

This windshield extension was a great addition to my bike. I have a BMW F650 gs and before I added the extension I had to bend down to keep the helmet "in my pocket" when going over 40mph. This expansion has completely changed that. Now I can sit up straight and I'm protected from the wind. Wind noise has decreased significantly, I'm probably hearing the wind noise I experienced when I was 40 now in 80. Lots of adjustments to shape the airflow around the rider. Also, the windshield extension…

Details worth noting

So I bought this spoiler thinking it was a clip and didn't fully pay attention to the 'bolt on' part of the name, um to see my stupidity. and an oversight, I decided (with great hesitation) to go ahead and drill the holes needed to actually bolt it to my Givi aftermarket windshield. I must say; HELLO! This is a fantastic sign extension and offers two mounting options (with and without extensions). more to the rear now but I'm very happy with the results looking back after reading a few other…

solid construction, doesn't reflect light well

When the sunlight isn't reflecting off surfaces it works well and provides good wind protection which is why I bought it. The wind was blowing wildly in my face and down my neck at speeds in excess of 60mph and I was on a four week tour of the US and couldn't take it anymore. So I ordered this bolt-on adjustable X-Creen wind deflector to install on my windshield in hopes of eliminating the shaking and general chaos caused by the wind. This worked but unfortunately the sunlight bounces off the…

i love this shop - Spare parts

Sliced bread, who needs that? I'll cut my own bread while I can hold that thing. He showed up yesterday, I still couldn't decipher the directions. I was pretty drunk. However, I managed to get it on the bike (Triumph Tiger Explorer) in about 5 minutes. My windshield has some angles, I was concerned about that. That's not a problem, the hinges are adjustable so adjusting to the angle of most screens shouldn't be a problem. This morning the double check of the installation was successful and I…
