I strongly recommend NOT BUYING.

These are very cheaply made brass fittings that screw into PLASTIC, not great engineering. Collected, and it leaked from the start.

Pros
  • Bracket Type: Vehicle specific
Cons
  • I don't remember

Be careful. Do not overtighten clamp

Good pump, used before, just bought for another car. When installing, it's very easy to unplug the electrical connector, I broke it immediately, so now I have to buy another one. It is now ordered.

Pros
  • High pressure electric fuel pump
Cons
  • Almost OK

Good FI pump matches fuel system

Bought this for my Cherokee when I was converting to a fuel cell. Worked great for a few months until my buddy welded my car. I think the welder killed him because he failed a post-weld test drive. I bought a second one and quickly tore off the threaded stud from where the wires joined - it's soft metal! I called MSD and they gave me an RMA number for both pumps, I sent them in and got two new pumps straight away! The website says you can repair the pumps for what I expected but I got a free…

Pros
  • Hose nipple outlet 5/16
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Pumps just fine for electric fuel pumps

I got one of these in 2007 when converting my 1984 Toyota 4Runner from a carburetor to a fuel injection system. It's a crawler that does double duty when there's something interesting to drive/drive/run over or when other vehicles need to be pushed/pulled/hauled. That means the truck is being abused and I basically don't think about the fuel pump. He was repeatedly dunked in mud and muddy water and continued to work without hesitation. Until 2012 when it was not used for almost a year. When I…

Pros
  • Great for fuel and nitrogen control systems
Cons
  • Available in white only

81 CJ7 360 Howell Injection

I drove 500 miles on an old Mallory Marine style pump and got stuck 500 miles from home. This MSD 2225 brought me home. This is the only place in the US I was able to find and as a Premier member it took me 2 days to get it. I called MSD and Howell Injection to see if they thought they were a good match and they agreed. It's quieter. I have a Mallory 140 Series Comp Canister fuel filter between the tank and the fuel pump. I always use premium fuel, but in the weeks leading up to my trip I…
