OK I think. on relay

I added this to get a tachometer signal and no matter what wire I connected or connected it to, the signal was bad. The touch could not be read up to high speeds and when it was hot.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • very expensive

Works for imports (civics)

Works great. Better than Autometer speedometer adapter. Which I also bought but didn't work. I installed it on a civilian coupe 06 and it works.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Not sure

Finally got it working

I had trouble getting it to work, I even bought another one thinking I screwed it up, the silver contacts MUST touch for it to work is working. And clings to the wire. no stripping required. (which I did with the first one I bought). I installed a non-original tachometer and its readings on 1 cylinder! I needed this for my 96 nissan 240sx with the sr20det engine replaced.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • ---

New school meets old school

If you want to use an RPM device, like I did when installing the PIONEER AVGVDP1 Vehicle Dynamics Processor, you need this to correctly read the RPM signal from modern electronic ignition systems to get "seen" from various RPM sensing devices like old rev counters, gearshift indicators and even some new fancy devices like the AVG-VDP1 that I bought. Installation is very easy and instructions are included. Basically the device (very small) is connected to the input wire of the coil, three wires…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Minor issues
