Great quality motherboard

Bought this for a new gaming PC. Really impressed with the quality and engineering. It's been over 12 years since the introduction of the PC, and it's been a good start. Easy installation, easy setup. The BIOS setup interface has a ton of options and features - the interface gets a little busy, but it's easy to get your bearings after a minute or two. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I'm nervous

MSI let me down here.

I received the package on time with no delivery problems. The price was great and I had a lot of experience with MSI motherboards. It's not that much, the board had a capacitor literally rolling around in anti-static packaging along with 3 out of 4 springs and plastic connectors holding the M.2 shield to the drive. Sent back, money back, ordered MSI Wifi Gaming Edge for $10 off Newegg.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Overall Worth Buying 10th Gen Intel

I don't like MSI in general, but I think you can get away with their shady practices because they make great products overall. This mob is no exception. I doubt I'll switch to 11th Gen Intel, but it's nice to know I can. Handles 10700k without a single problem. The distance between the PCIe x16 slots is sufficient to install a second GPU, even with a 2.5-slot GPU, on the first PCIe. The specs are good enough, I would have preferred it to have Bluetooth, but that's no big deal.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Dismal Hardware

Good results with MSI Z490 Tomahawk motherboard

The MSI Z490 Tomahawk motherboard is easy to install and set up and I had no problems. Be sure to check DDR4 memory module compatibility on the MSI website to make sure they work. Windows downloaded and configured everything, but I had to download and install several drivers from MSI. I had to download Realtek-PCIELAN w10, Intel chip, Intel network and Realtek sound. The 2.5 Gbps Ethernet LAN is very fast. I used to always buy ASUS motherboards, but I chose MSI. I am very impressed with MSI…

Cool overlockers Good budget but software let me down

So my family cheated me and now I have 10850k on this board. I was a bit concerned that the VRM wouldn't work with this chip, but thankfully it didn't. This board handles 9900k on each MCE, MSI works fine. The strong wind current keeps the temperature on the board at 60 degrees Celsius or less. Still, I highly recommend this board. I just built another machine and used this motherboard. Since there aren't really any controls to tell you what you're getting into, you go. The Edge AC is…

MSI support is terrible and advertises a scam

I had a nightmare dealing with MSI support via phone, email, website and twitter. They won't even answer if they don't want to. The goods are in order, I think there are no complaints against the seller. MSI is running a promotion to award a Steam Gift Card for purchasing a matching motherboard and processor. I jumped through their hoops by filling out an online form and providing photos of the serial number box labels as required by the form to receive a $40 gift certificate. They require…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • A little maintainable
