WHAT THE FUCKING SIGNAL?!?!

Note to future desk makers: DO NOT MAKE AN ALARM EVERY 5 SECONDS. WOW - Who designed this? These are true beeps every 5 or 6 seconds while attached drives are in use. What good is it if not to USE. I don't want it to stay connected to my laptop, so the drives/folders I'm USING for are PERMANENTLY remounted. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR ACTUAL USE other than target practice. Fortunately, my company replaces this POS.

Did the job I expected!

At first I thought that having so many USB inputs would result in little or no power consumption. I didn't need it to charge things, but I did need it to power things like my DVD player and my MIDI controller, and it really worked for all of that. I could plug in my external drives and RAM and they worked . What I didn't like was the short cable that plugged in and out of my USB connection. I had to use tape to secure the connection between the male and female parts. I also had to use a spring…

Junkyard Plastic

What extremely bad crap. The creators of this device should be forced to pay a fine to offset this contribution to plastic landfill. Plug it in, plug in an external hard drive because that was the only reason I bought it, hard drives mysteriously disappear from the desktop and a "hard drive was not ejected properly" notification pops up. And touching it even lightly while moving objects also means the drive isn't ejecting properly. But wait, that's not all! Plug it back in and turn the switch…

Nice splitter but may not always work via USB

This splitter is a great thing, but it has some issues with powering devices as well as data transfer. I plugged it into my USB port on the back of my computer and it worked very well for just three devices. I tried connecting two iPads and a flash drive to see if I could sync the device and transfer files. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay connected to all three devices at the same time. He kept breaking off. My guess is that not enough current is going through the splitter. I've also tried…
