You really need to clean it and keep it in a sealed bag or something! Don't get it, it's getting too old. It seems that the older/drier it gets, the more it breaks down. Looks better on spool than the end result although the final color isn't bad. I was hoping for a gradient and got it. bright purple. That's all. Just purple. A bit annoying but printable. The product works as expected, the print settings used can be seen in the screenshot. Pros: The spool contains at least one DBL_Rainbow color change and looks great on a variety of prints, the metallic sheen doesn't show until after printing it's matte rather than glossy (see image).
