Description of Multitool MORAKNIV Companion MG (carbon steel) black/khaki

Knife Description MORA Companion MG Carbon steel HRC 58-60 Mora Companion MG Carbon is a work knife for outdoor activities and everyday use. It is the perfect travel companion. After all, the knives of this series have an excellent price / performance / quality ratio. Knife construction Mora Companion MG Carbon The blade is made of carbon, high carbon steel. The thickness of the butt of the Mora Companion MG knife is 2.0 mm. and it tapers almost to zero towards the end of the blade. The blade has a laser sharpening, which is stored for a long period of use. The handle has a characteristic curve for a comfortable grip. The handle of the knife is very comfortable, ergonomic, which is why the knife in the hand sits very comfortably and at the same time securely. The base of the handle is made of plastic, that is, the blade itself is sealed in very dense plastic, and covered with thin rubber on top of the plastic. Rubber does not allow the handle to slip even in a wet hand. The handle is provided with a finger rest, thanks to which the thumb rests on the handle very comfortably. Knife Mora Companion MG Carbon is universal - it cuts food well, it is easy for them to cut branches or perform any other tasks necessary for hiking, fishing, in general, during outdoor activities. The scabbard is plastic. Reliable in operation, the clip on the belt holds very well, it is difficult to remove it, so the option of accidentally jumping off the sheath during active movement is practically excluded. There is a drainage hole at the bottom of the scabbard. For more convenient extraction of the knife from the sheath, there is a finger stop. The knife in the sheath is fixed quite tightly, securely. A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

It looks much bigger in the photo. I thought it would be a full-fledged healthy Rambo-nizhik in size, but it is quite small in my hand. It would be increased by 15 percent.

Pros
  • Very sharp. The pot-bellied handle is quite grippy, though a little small.
Cons
  • The scabbard is not comfortable. The first time I took it out, I immediately cut myself, because out of habit I grabbed it haphazardly, but it is really very sharp😁.

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Great knife, a lot of reviews on the Internet, it makes no sense to list all the pros. Definitely worth the money, great tool.

Pros
  • Lightweight, durable, good sharpening, comfortable case
Cons
  • No

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Bought a second one because the first one sank. For me, this model is ideal for the forest, hiking and all that other stuff. Original knife, stickers and stamps in place. The quality is excellent

Pros
  • Light, sharp, sharp, reliable
Cons
  • Unless some people are confused by the plastic handle, but for me this is only a plus

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I already use stainless steel Morakniv Companion. Now I took carbon to her company, I’ll pickle with phosphoric acid so as not to bathe with rust on the blade. I buy all the knives as a tool to work with them, and not to hang on the carpet .

Pros
  • I took an excellent working tool for little money in Amazon (808)
Cons
  • -

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I bought the knife two weeks ago. I took a knife for hiking in nature. I have taken it with me several times and have been very pleased with it. The knife is made qualitatively, sits comfortably in the hand, sits firmly in the hand. The knife is quite sharp and reliable. Once made a choice.

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

An excellent knife for the money, carbon cuts a little better than stainless steel, keeps sharpening longer, but requires obligatory wiping after use (otherwise it can rust), a good option for a hike, light and compact

Pros
  • quality wedge Comfortable handle Price
Cons
  • care needed

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Many write that it rusts. Until I see it. Maybe due to the fact that it is well polished from the factory, and it is not difficult to wipe it off after work. The best value for money and convenience. Pros below: It cuts wood and food perfectly, as I peel potatoes myself. The second pestilence I have. In terms of convenience, it is better than 2022, and it keeps sharpening longer. Cons below: Poor processing of the , which does not matter to me, does not affect the cut. A dim pen, it is easy to…

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

A convenient compact knife that can come in handy everywhere, when going out into nature, at work, if you often have to open packages and just in everyday life, cut a sandwich, etc. I recommend it for purchase.

Pros
  • Compact, well sharpened from the factory, comfortable sheath with the possibility of suspension, the knife sits tightly in the sheath and does not rattle. Grip handle fits comfortably in the hand.
Cons
  • The of the blade is not processed, the photo is attached. No other shortcomings were found.

Great product, best quality.

Comfortable handle, easy to remove from the sheath. For particularly demanding users, sharpening can be done. Blade length 100mm. The height of the fixing clip on the belt is 40mm. Width 30mm.

Cons
  • the belt clip does not inspire confidence during active actions.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Carbon must be looked after. You can not return from fishing and leave it until the morning - it may darken or rust. You can not cut food (tomato, lemon and the like) without wiping the blade after that, they will cause metal oxidation and the appearance of dark spots on the blade. The solution is the usual cheap polish for cars, for headlights. But you have to rub it long and hard after each use)) Who is too lazy to look after and who does not pursue the appearance of the knife - we put the…

Pros
  • Low cost workhorse, rubberized handle, non-slip hand operation. More about the pros: - keeps sharpening well; - high-quality production, popular manufacturer; - Ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the hand - sheath (plastic) with knife fixation and fastening trousers / belt; - low cost.
Cons
  • Careful care and attention is required for the blade, but this is more a feature of carbon steel than a disadvantage.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Various advantages: Remove the razors from the packaging. Excellent hardening. Handle that is both comfortable and secure, as well as a sheath that does not slide off the belt and properly fits in your pocket. Negatives: First of all, it rusts. Carbon necessitates extreme caution, but I think that goes without saying.

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Has some pros: Comfortably sits in the hand. A good cover that can be hung on anything, even on a button, even on a pocket, even on a belt. Cons: It seemed that the steel was soft, if sharpened to zero, the edge quickly jammed.

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I bought this knife for a hike in Altai. In the campaign, he was very actively used: chopping firewood, cutting branches and ropes. Although the knife is made of carbon steel, there is no rust at all, although the humidity was high during the hike. What impressed me the most about this knife was its sharpening! As I wrote above, the knife was actively and mercilessly exploited for seven days of the campaign and was never corrected or sharpened! Upon my return, I tested its sharpening by cutting

Pros
  • The company's reputation is justified.
Cons
  • Not detected.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

In general, it gives odds to all other knives of this class. Mora - Foreva! :)) Its pros: Great utility knife for all sorts of small jobs in the field. By the way, and as a skinner works great. The handle is very comfortable. In general, no complaints, like all Mora knives. Different cons: The clip is inconvenient, again, like all Mohr's knives. In cold weather, getting out of under the floor of the jacket - hemorrhoids. It is not very reliable, it happens that with all sorts of complex…

A carbon knife has a better cut, but the above absolutely eliminates this advantage. The form factor of the knife itself is very convenient, especially for products on a hike, and at home too. Compact size, good plastic sheath, light weight. Conclusion: we must take the same, but with a stainless blade. With its pros: Very comfortable in the hand, optimal blade size, good sharpening and cutting. Has cons: Carbon steel, which means that the knife is not for "wet" work. The constant need to wipe…
